Governor Fallin Appoints Patrice Douglas to Corporation Commission

OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today announced she has selected Patrice Douglas of Edmond to replace Commissioner Jeff Cloud on the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. Cloud announced his resignation from the commission earlier this month. The Corporation Commission has judicial, legislative and regulatory authority over a number of sectors of the Oklahoma economy, including the transportation, energy and telecommunications industries as well as public utilities. “The Oklahoma Corporation Commission impacts our economy on many levels through its oversight and regulation of a variety of industries,” Fallin said.
